Programme Pathways

Diploma in Islamic Studies (MQA/PA 17159)

Duration: 2.5 years

Entry: SPM or equivalent qualification

Focus: Strong theoretical foundations and industry-oriented practical skills

Bachelor of Shariah with Honours (MQA/PA 18481)

Duration: 3 years

Entry: STPM / Foundation / Diploma or equivalent

Focus: Field specialization, capstone projects, and industry attachment

Master of Islamic Studies (MQA/PA 18742)

Duration: 2 years

Entry: Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Focus: Applied research, professional leadership, and advanced strategy

Entry Requirement
  • Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or its equivalent with at least 3 credits and pass in one Arabic Language subject or one Islamic Studies subject.
  • A recognised Certificate [Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)] in Islamic Studies or its equivalent.
  • Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
Fee
  • Classes are held on Saturday and Sunday only.
  • Monthly Fee: RM180 - RM200.
  • Registration Fee: RM800.
  • Fees do not include books.

Entry Requirement
  • Passed the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia - STPM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 and at least two full passes, with one of them in a subject related to Islamic Studies.
  • Passed a qualification equivalent to STPM such as A-Level, provided that the candidate passes at least one subject in Islamic Studies in that qualification.
  • Passed the Matriculation Programme or a qualification recognised as Foundation in Islamic Studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.
  • Passed the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia - STAM) with an overall grade of Maqbul.
  • Diploma (Level 4 of the Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) recognised in Islamic Studies or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.
  • International Students: English Competency Requirement.
  • Achieve CEFR (Low B2) in MUET / IELTS / TOEFL / PTE / Cambridge (CAE/CPE) / ELS.

  • Local Fee: RM18,000.
  • International Fee: RM29,005.
  • Fees do not include books, accommodation, or meals.
